In 1961 he was hired as copperplate engraver in the workshop of art publisher Giorgio Upiglio, where he had the opportunity to work side by side with internationally renowned artists.

Francesco Radaelli, former Superior General of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram, before graduating in architecture from Milan Polytechnic, attended the Beato Angelico school and the studio of Don Ambrogio Fumagalli, the Olivetan Benedictine, where for a long time he studied drawing and painting. He currently works in the field of architectural planning and design, and in collaboration with the Toniutti Brothers' Novamosaici atelier in Bollate (MI), in the artistic mosaic and stained glass sector. He has created many works mainly in Italy, but also in Switzerland, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Central Africa and Paraguay. His works are placed in many private collections; at the Vatican Museums you can admire two paintings commissioned at the time by the late Archbishop Giovanni Fallani, president of the Pontifical Central Commission for Sacred Art in Italy.
